MIP / ROST Environmental Testing

Probedrill has the ability to intergrade a Membrane Interface Probe (MIP) or Rapid Optical Screening Tool (ROST) sub into our current set-up on any rig.

This type of in-situ environmental testing is used to measure volatile organic compounds, such as hydrocarbons, and can test the extent of the contaminant.

We have previously conducted MIP/ROST testing with our 22-tonne truck mounted CPT rig (Merc) with Fugro.
